AUSTRALIAN manufacturer MCE’s distribution of laser technology for the earthmoving industry is expanding.
The manufacturer has appointed New Zealand dealer Abacus Precision as its distributer in the region.
The company will carry MCE’s Calibre range which includes laser levels and laser-guided machine control systems for roading, sub-division and land levelling contractors.
The distributer prides itself in its extensive range of self-levelling laser levels.
The range includes the Calibre Colt and Colt HV. These units are suitable for serious construction and concrete placing teams. It has a stainless body, self-levelling and is 100% waterproof. The HV operates in horizontal and vertical.
The Calibre Remington, which is a single grade laser for drain layers and contractors. It is said to have superb quality with a 400m range and 15% grade capacity.
There is also the Calibre Lasergrader for the serious earthmover who needs range and dual grade technology. With a 1.4 km diameter operating range, 25% slope capability on x and y axis, and a radio remote option, this laser is said to provide the perfect solution for large contracts.
Furthermore, the Calibre Pipeguide has a stainless body and is 100 % waterproof. The manufacturer says this is the only pipe laser on the market which has percentage and a ratio input mode.
