EXHIBITIONS and Trade Fairs has announced the third National Tradesman’s Expo is to go ahead in May 2009.
Organisers say the Expo is a great chance for tradies to get the best deals on tools and equipment and network for jobs and services.
Show visitors who purchase equipment valued at over $1,000 are eligible for the Federal Government stimulus package where small businesses receive an extra 30% tax deduction on equipment bought before 30 June 2009.
This year, the National Tradesman’s Expo features Australia’s leading trade suppliers, including United Tools, Makita, Bosch, Hitachi, Milwaulkee, DeWalt, Panasonic and Stanley.
A range of earthmoving and plumbing equipment will also be available to test drive on the day, with the latest machines from Toyota Husky, Hyundai Construction Machinery, Komatsu and Kubota on display.
Trucks, vans and utes from Mercedes Benz, Renault, Isuzu, Fuso and Hino can be inspected and the latest products in safety, workwear and telecommunications will be on show.
The National Tradesman’s Expo will be held at the Exhibition Pavilion, Melbourne Showgrounds from 29 to 31 May 2009.
