Coastal Tipper Hire finds itself a Hino truck convert

HINO Australia says Gold Coast machinery hire company, Coastal Tipper Hire has switched over three-quarters of its fleet of 80 trucks to HINO 500 series.

According to Coastal Tipper Hire, it received a glowing recommendation eight years ago from a sub-contractor, who was driving a Ranger 14 Series. This past reference is attributed to the shift within its truck fleet.

The hire company says since it began with just one truck 16 years ago, it has grown quickly to become a large company which despite its name, supplies a variety of machinery including skid-steer loaders and excavators.

The heart of the company’s fleet however is said to remain tipper trucks, and each year it typically replaces between 20 and 30 trucks, or about a third of its fleet. So far in 2009 all the new trucks the company purchased have been Hinos.
